Exceptional chest of drawers designed by Carlo De Carli for Sormani. Italy 1960's.

Chest of drawers with original coloured glass top inset into a brass frame. Cream lacquered body with bronze drawer pulls. Brass feet comprising grooved columns on cylindrical brass. The drawer interiors are in rosewood.

Very good condition, having had been completely relacquered in its original colour.

Typically found in red lacquer or varnished rosewood. Rarer versions were produced in black and cream.
