Glamorous ottoman made out of a silk embroidered piano shawl from the 1920`s. Beautiful vivid colours on a black background. It would look exquisite as a centre piece in a living room or bedroom.
Piano shawls were very fashionable in the early 20th Century, silk at that time was brought back by Spanish traders from China. The beautiful embroidery would have been hand sewn or draped over grand pianos.
