Lovely Latticino glass bowl with from the 1950`s/1960`s. "Latticino" refers to the insertion of spiral shaped coloured pieces of glass into a clear glass layer. Here the spiral layer has been inserted between a dark, almost black base layer and a clear surface layer.
The base still has the label signifying that it was made in the AVeM workshop. Likely therefore to have been made by or to a design by Dino Martens.
A beautifully rich and vibrant piece, made by one of Murano`s greatest ever designers.
