Italian Mid-century Desk / Bookcase

 

Predominantly rosewood desk with stained carved legs, fruit wood inlay (by Gariboldi) and an ash interior.

 

Desk opens revealing mirrored interior with glass shelf.

 

Lower drawers open to reveal 6 ash drawers with green inlay decoration and brass handles.

 

The upper library unit has 2 glass shelves and doors with reverse painted gold motifs.

 

Attributed to Paolo Buffa, Italy c. 1945.

 

Beautifully restored (all original) and in very good condition.
