This is an French Art Deco chair with has been reupholstered in turquoise linen and I`ve added a Chinese embroidered panel down the centre back of the chair and on the seat. The embroidery comes from Nineteenth Century silk sleeve bands which were part of a Chinese robe. This is an elegant chair and would sit very decoratively in a bedroom or dressing room.
